Tuesday July 14 to Thursday July 16.
Zero Days at Kennedy Meadows North Campground.
After getting a morning hitch from Zack and his 2 sons from Sonora Pass / Hwy 108 to KM North Campground, we cleaned up with showers and laundry, we relaxed and celebrated with an adult beverage and a filling dinner.
By plan, Tuesday was Lisa’s last day on trail, and left on the KM shuttle van to head home on Wednesday morning. Quite simply, one could not ask for a better hiking partner. The rest of this adventure will not be the same without you. 😊
The rest of Wednesday and Thursday was spent doing Zero Day things like resting, reading, eating, blogging, planning, repairing, and generally recharging.
Kennedy Meadows is a Campground/ RVers/ hiker/ fishing / horse person crossroads that has been in business here for almost a century and is the perfect place for all of the above.
Back to the trail on Friday….
